Step-by-step installation

Installation varies slightly by platform. Follow these steps for your device type.

1. Download the pokki APK (Android only) — visit pokki.bet and tap the Android download link, or scan the QR code provided.
2. Allow unknown sources (Android) — go to Settings > Security > Unknown Sources and toggle it on so your device can install the APK.
3. Install the apponce downloaded, tap the APK file and confirm the installation.
4. Register or log inopen pokki and create a new account with your email, username, password, and mobile number, or sign in if you already have an account.

App versus browser access

The pokki Android app offers offline caching — you can view markets and account details even if your connection drops temporarily. The app also supports push notifications so you get alerts for live events and account updates. Load times on the app are generally faster because the app stores game data locally. The app takes up about 50MB of storage on your device.

Browser access works on any device without installation. There is no offline mode with browser access, and you won't receive push notifications. However, browser access means no storage overhead and no need to enable unknown sources or grant app permissions. Many users prefer the browser method because it is simpler to set up and removes the risk of app conflicts with other software on their device.

Device compatibility

The pokki app requires Android 7.0 or later. Most devices sold in the last five years meet this requirement. On iOS, our browser-based access works on iPhone and iPad running iOS 12 or later. If you are running an older OS version, update your device or use the browser method instead. Android APK is not available on iOS; iPhone and iPad users must access pokki via Safari or another mobile browser.

Common installation issues

If you see "Unknown app from unknown source" on Android, you need to enable installation from unknown sources in your device settings. Navigate to Settings > Apps > Special app access > Install unknown apps, select your browser or file manager, and toggle it on. If you get a certificate warning during APK installation, this is normal for direct downloads outside the Google Play Store. The pokki APK is safe to install — the warning appears because it is not distributed through an official app store. If the app crashes after installation, try clearing your device's cache (Settings > Apps > pokki > Storage > Clear Cache) or uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Permissions and data security on pokki

The pokki app requests permission to access your camera (for account verification), your contacts (for two-factor authentication recovery), and your storage (to cache game data). pokki does not use these permissions for any purpose other than account security and app functionality. All data sent between your device and pokki is encrypted. Your payment method information is never stored on your device — it is sent securely to our payment processors. When you log out of pokki, your session data is cleared. If you uninstall the app, all cached data is removed from your device. pokki uses the same security standards on both app and browser versions.
